Origin

The passion that Nuria has for the mountain cannot not be explained without Cavalls de Vent and Carros de foc . They are much more than 2 tracks, they are the gardens where Nuria has lived the most important moments of her life: the town of Bagà and Boí Valley.

The challenge

To join two mythic tracks in Catalonia, Cavalls de Vent & Carros de Foc using the less time possible… a great deed of 137 km and 14.200 meter uphill that nobody had achieved before.

Fulfilled dream

Nuria Picas achieved her challenge Home to Home after 25 hours and 52 minutes.
From her “home” to her “home”. Nuria can double-click that dream from her personal dream’s list.
As she said when she arrived to La Colomina : To run two races at a time? I don’t think I’ll make that again.. But to enjoy running through this two places again and again… as long as I can.. No doubt about it.”

The documentary “Home to Home”

Using the challenge of the home to Home, the documentary offer a review of Nuria’s life, from when she began to run at an early age to her accident while climbing that broke her dreams or how she managed to recover from the accident and became World Champion in Mountain races in 2012.
The documentary also shows how her passion for mountains has driven her to look for new challenges like that Home to Hone she has just achieved.
