Training

Sports and nature lover, we can find Núria practicing all sort of sports, like mountain skiing, trail running, cycling or her other passion, climbing.

But when she is on high season she tides up all this mess and she follows a training program so she can reach her better physical shape for marked calendar dates.

This training program is basically based in mixing running races with mountain skiing on winter time, and running races with road cycling on summer time. In that way, training sessions are more pleasant and we prevent physical overwork and possible floor impact damages caused by daily running.

Training six out of seven days a week, Núria only rests on Saturday, but she always says that this is the most important training session above all : she is giving her body the time to recover and assimilate all work done during the week.

Berguedà Mountain is like her home’s garden, and some of her favorite spots are Rasos de Peguera, Pedraforca Mountain and Cadí mountain range, but Montserrat Mountain is her magic place, the mountain that has seen her born and grow as a professional athlete.

She does more specific physical work at the Camping Berga Resort’s gym. Apart from muscle-building she can enjoy a thermal circuit and a relax area to recover properly.

And what’s the secret?

The secret is to never stop, being perseverant, enjoying every outdoor session with a positive mind, and will power to overcome all obstacles on the way… you have to make every step a way that leads you to achieve your personal goals.

Núria does not like to talk about limits… but where is her limit? Her limit will be the day she stops enjoying all that.
