EXPERIENCE THE MOUNTAIN WITH NÚRIA PICAS
Nepal
An inner journey, full of personal growth and discovery.
Langtang Region: Kathmandu - Gosaikunda
The Gosaikunda trek is a spectacular route that combines high mountain landscapes, rhododendron forests, and traditional villages with a strong spiritual depth. Departing from Kathmandu, this route leads to the sacred lakes of Gosaikunda, located in the heart of the Langtang region, one of the most authentic and uncrowded areas of the Nepalese Himalayas.
The Gosaikunda lakes, at over 4,300 meters above sea level, are considered sacred by Hindus and Buddhists, and attract pilgrims every year during the Janai Purnima festival. The landscape surrounding these crystal-clear lakes is simply magical, with spectacular views of peaks such as Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal.
One of the highlights of the trek is the crossing of the Lauribina La Pass, located at an altitude of approximately 4,610 meters.
This pass offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayas and marks the highest point of the trek. In addition to the views, the trek allows you to discover the rich culture of the Tamang and Sherpa people, as well as enjoy the calm and spirituality of an area that still preserves the essence of traditional Nepal.
As a mountain guide with extensive experience in Nepal, I have led numerous expeditions, treks, mountain races, and alpine ascents. My extensive knowledge of the terrain and local culture guarantees a deep, safe experience that connects you with the essence of this extraordinary territory.
This trek is ideal for those seeking a less crowded but equally intense experience, both scenically and culturally and spiritually.
